Don’t worry if you don’t have your insurance policy number handy; we can easily find it for you while we’re talking

You will be asked to describe the incident as best as you can, and provide any other relevant information about your claim

In most cases we will let you know straight away what you are covered for, whether an excess will apply and if your policy is affected in future as a result of this claim

From here, you can decide if you want to press ahead and lodge your claim or whether you would prefer to leave it as an enquiry or just a notification for now – there’s no pressure from us (although if someone is claiming against you we'll let you know what we think you should do).

If you lodge a claim, we’ll provide you with a claim number and we will start the formal claims process plus advise of next steps
