Just Car Insurance policies will no longer be issued from 13th January 2017. These FAQ’s may help answer some of the questions you may have.
Q: Why is the Just Car Insurance brand being discontinued?
A: AAI Limited, the issuer of Just Car Insurance policies, has made a strategic business decision to discontinue Just Car Insurance branded insurance policies and consolidate its brand offerings.
Q: What if I need to make a change to my Just Car Insurance policy?
A: Please continue to contact Just Car Insurance on 13 13 26 or visit the self-service section of the website here .
Q: What happens if I need to make a claim?
A: If you need to make a claim under your existing insurance policy with Just Car Insurance, you can call us on 13 13 26 or alternatively, for comprehensive policies, you can lodge online here or via our app available for download with the App Store or Google play.
Q: Why will Just Car Insurance customers receive an offer from AAMI or Shannons?
A: Just Car Insurance branded insurance policies will no longer be issued however AAI Limited may be able to continue to insure you under another brand.
Q: Who is AAMI*?

Q: Who is Shannons**?
A: Shannons is an authorised representative of AAI Limited. AAI Limited is the issuer of insurance for both Just Car Insurance and Shannons. Shannons is the insurance brand for motoring enthusiasts and offers many policy features including^;
- Cover for legal modifications
- One excess free windscreen or window glass claim, per vehicle per year
- Choice of repairer & lifetime guarantee on repairs authorised by Shannons
- Club Plate cover and Laid Up cover for restoration projects
Q: When will eligible Just Car Insurance customers receive the offer?
A: An offer will be sent to eligible Just Car Insurance customers approximately 5 weeks before their current policy expires.
Q: What happens if I receive an offer but I don’t accept it?
A: If you receive an offer from Shannons or AAMI and don’t accept the offer, it is important that you make alternative insurance arrangements prior to the expiration date of your Just Car Insurance policy if you want to ensure coverage.
Q: What will the new insurance offer cover?
A: If you receive an offer, it will be the same type of insurance – motor vehicle insurance. However, the offer letter will contain relevant information about any differences as well as the Product Disclosure Statement which contains all the information about the cover. You should read this document to make sure the insurance meets your needs.
